After a failed career in the adult porn business (thanks largely in part to the fact that Viagra hadn't been invented) Darcy tried to be a Canadian Idol, but due to the fact that he jumped on the wrong bus and ended up in Nunavut. He missed his opportunity. He than spent a few months doing a little BasketBall Diaries in the park. Fed up he realized that he had some musical talent and decided to start a band.

Darcy started playing bass at 14, when his old band couldn't find a bass player. In the late 80's Darcy was the bass player for CRUEL COUNTRY. In the Early 90's he played bass & sang with THE STYLE. After THE STYLE broke up he took 5 years off. In the late 90's, he got the itch again and formed BLISS. BLISS was a rock band out of Regina. It lasted a year or so. In 2000, Darcy had a short stint with THE SOFA KINGS, before reforming CRUEL COUNTRY. CRUEL COUNTRY is still going strong to date. In Jan. 04, DARCY PLAYGOUND was formed.

Darcy uses a Warwick bass, Corvette series.
